GoGo Ride Terms of Service

Welcome to GoGo Ride (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access and use of the GoGo Ride mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By creating an account or using GoGo Ride, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to use GoGo Ride.
• Drivers must meet all requirements set by law and GoGo Ride, including passing background checks, maintaining a valid driver’s license, registration, and insurance.

2. Accounts

• You must create an account with accurate information.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details.
• You agree not to share your account with others or impersonate another person.

3. Services

GoGo Ride connects riders with independent drivers. We do not own, control, or operate vehicles used by drivers.

• Riders: Request rides, view fare estimates, and pay securely through GoPay.
• Drivers: Provide transportation services as independent contractors, not employees of GoGo Ride.

4. Payments

• All payments are processed securely through GoPay.
• Riders agree to pay all fares, fees, and applicable taxes.
• Drivers agree that GoGo Ride may deduct service fees from ride earnings.
• Payments are final and non-refundable, except as determined by GoGo Ride.

5. Driver Requirements

• Maintain valid insurance, registration, and licensing.
• Pass all background checks and verification steps.
• Comply with all applicable laws and safety regulations.
• Keep vehicles clean, safe, and in good working condition.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

• Use the Services for unlawful or fraudulent purposes.
• Disrupt, harm, or interfere with the platform’s operations.
• Harass, threaten, or endanger riders, drivers, or staff.
• Impersonate others or provide false information.

Violation of these rules may result in suspension or termination of your account.

7. Safety

• Riders must wear seatbelts at all times.
• Drivers may refuse service if a rider poses a safety risk.
• GoGo Ride may use GPS tracking for trip safety and quality assurance.

8. Ratings & Feedback

Riders and drivers may rate each other after each trip. Ratings help maintain trust and service quality. Repeated low ratings may result in deactivation.

9. Intellectual Property

All logos, trademarks, app design, and content belong to GoGo Ride. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Services without our consent.

10. Independent Contractor Status

Drivers are independent contractors, not employees. GoGo Ride does not control driver schedules, routes, or vehicles. Drivers are responsible for their own taxes, expenses, and insurance.

11. Limitation of Liability

• GoGo Ride provides the platform “as is” without guarantees.
• We are not liable for damages, accidents, injuries, or disputes between riders and drivers.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to $100 or the amount you paid through the Services in the past 3 months.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify GoGo Ride against any claims, damages, or liabilities resulting from your misuse of the Services, violation of these Terms, or unlawful conduct.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violating these Terms, safety risks, or fraudulent activity.

14. Dispute Resolution

• Any disputes will first be attempted through negotiation.
• If unresolved, disputes will be handled through binding arbitration under Michigan law.
• Class action lawsuits are waived.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
